DESCRIPTION:

HERRMAX STEER SAE 680W GEAR OIL is based on selected mineral oil raffinates and an ideally tailored, zinc-free additive combination. Temperature range up to +100°C. This oil has an excellent suitability for almost all construction types of closed industrial operations with spur, bevel and worm gear teeth. It’s particularly applicable for closed gears with immersion and circulation lubrication. It’s usable  for the lubrication of normally loaded roller and sliding bearings, joints and guide systems. It is applicable  for simple hydraulic systems.

APPLICATIONS:

HERRMAX STEER SAE 680W GEAR OIL is recommended for lubrication of compressor cylinders and sliding worm gear surfaces in worm drive gear cases. It is a higher viscosity lubricant recommended for steam pressures up to 300 psi and temperatures from 218°C to 302°C (425°F to 575°F).
