DESCRIPTION:

HERRMAX MECHA ISO VG 46 HYDRAULIC OIL is a mineral oil specifically designed to meet the requirements of most important manufacturers of hydraulic equipment. It contains anti-wear, anti-oxidant, anti-corrosion and anti-foam additives. The designation HLP 46 is composed of “HLP” and “46”. HLP are the code letters of the hydraulic fluid, which are defined in DIN 51524-2. These are hydraulic oils with anti-ageing and anti-corrosion additives as well as active agents for reducing friction and wear. 46 describe the kinematic viscosity of the hydraulic oil (in mm²/s) at 40 °C. The respective viscosity classes were standardized by ISO VG.

APPLICATIONS:

This type of hydraulic oil is particularly recommended in systems that are subject to important temperature fluctuations,and where water condensation is a concern. Therefore it is mainly used in off-highway and construction equipment,and industrial installations,where the presence of water cannot be avoided,like steel plants or mining.
