HERRMAX STEER SAE 85W140 GEAR OIL is a mineral oil composed of paraffinic base oils and selected additives based on sulphur-phosphorus. It has a special friction additive imparts to this oil the necessary properties to be used in differentials, which are equipped with a “limited-slip” mechanism. It has a high load carrying capability ensures gears operating under high loads are protected, prolonging component life. It has a superior cold start fluidity provides improved differential operation compared to a monograde gear oil 140W.

APPLICATIONS:

HERRMAX STEER SAE 85W140 GEAR OIL is an incredibly high-pressure gear oil. It is used wherever high levels of stress occur, such as in hypoid gears of road vehicles, final drive gears, planetary gears, construction machinery, agriculture and industry.
